DEAD KENNEDYS, 4th July in Belgade - SRC "11.April"
One of the top hardcore punk bands ever, DEAD KENNEDYS, will perform on July the 4th in our capital, on a summer scene SRC “11 April”!
The cult punk band was formed in 1978, in San Francisco, when the legendary singer Jello Biafra responded to a music magazine classified.
Up to 1986, the band was setting the music scene on fire, attracting considerable controversial public reactions, due to provocative lyrics and even more provocative shows.
In that period, they released 4 albums and 1 EP, what lead to band re-forming in 2001, without Jello Biafra, performing with several different singers.
Dead Kennedys will perform on the summer scene of the SRC “11. April” on the 4th of July at 9 p.m, with the current lineup as follows: East Bay Ray - lead guitar, Klaus Flouride - bass, D.H. Peligro - drums and Ron “Skip” Greer - vocals.
Their fans can expect to hear all the familiar hits from ‘California Über Alles’ and ‘Holiday in Cambodia’ to ‘Kill the Poor’ and ‘Police Truck’.
As support bands, Trnje and PogonBGD will heat you up for the crazy show!
